I don't wear power suits,
make speeches,or drive a fancy sports car.
I've never talked on a car phone,
made a big sale,or been elected to the Senate.
I don't "do lunch",
have a big imppressive office or carry a beeper.
I spend my days wiping away tears,
giving hugs,and serving chicken nuggets.
A good day is when I go through a whole day
without a temper tantrum,bite mark,
or a toilet training accident.
My "office" is a room full of brightly colored
toys and laughing children.
You may not think that what I do is very
important and you may even whisper behind my
back"what a waste of a good mind."
But I know better.
I make a difference
because I'm changing the world
one child at a time.
Everyday I'm getting the once in a lifetime
chance to touch the future.

Hello my name is Mrs. Thomas, I'm the mother of 4 amazing children, ages 22, 21, 18 and 16 as well as a certified Licenced Family Child Care Provider. I have over 17 years experience working with children and believe children under 5 should be in an intimate caring and nuturing environment when their parents are away. Family child care settings allows children to receive individual care and one on one attention throughout the day as a result of the small number of children enrolled. I have taken numerous State child care classes in the areas of curriculum, SIDS, child safety, nutrition, emergency prepardness along with CPR & First Aid certification. I look forward to working with your family.
Parents concerns whether Family or Centers is the best enviroment for their child.... Click link below for pros & cons for both. I feel the best eniviroment is one that meets the needs of you and your child and only you can decide that because each family situation and need is different.
This is our beautiful cat Autumn. Most of the time she is exactly like you see her in this picture and comes in very little contact with children.
My mission is to provide a warm and caring environment that expresses joy and love in a safe and nurturing atmosphere, An environment that welcomes reason, exploration, stimilation and imagination. I partner with you to promote the growth, well-being and development of your child, with the common goal of having them ready for school by 5. Your child will receive daily instruction in education, character building, self awarness & conduct.
